Vitamins:
B-1 -
involved in the breakdown of carbohydrates to glucose needed by muscles to form glycogen. Glycogen is the form of glucose storage in muscle for energy. Also supports the nervous system.
B-2 - involved in the breakdown of carbs, fats and protein for energy (ATP). Supports red blood cell production for oxygen transport throughout the body by metabolizing iron.
B-3 - involved in the formation of the very important compound for energy transfer NAD and red blood cell formation
B-5 - involved in forming acetyl-CoA that enhances nutrient utilization
B-6 - involved in the breakdown of carbs and protein for energy. Very important in glycogen breakdown that releases energy in muscle
B-7 - helps form vital enzymes important for gluconeogenesis (forming glucose for energy from non-carbohydrates)
C - antioxidant (protecting cells from free radicals), improves absorption of iron from plants (non-heme) and helps to synthesize norepinephrine (important to breaking down glycogen for energy)
E - antioxidant, supports muscle strength and coordination

Minerals:
Iron -
supports oxygen transport, producing anaerobic energy in times of intense exercise when your lungs are maxed and formation of cytochromes that transfers energy in the important mitochondria of cells helping the production of ATP
Copper - antioxidant, cellular energy production, bone strength
Manganese - supports the breakdown of carbohydrates for energy, the production of proteoglycans that support cartilage so the body can handle high compressive loads.
